Native Texan and lifelong Austinite Will Temple hit the ground running in his first legislative session at the Texas Capitol, the 86th, quickly becoming a familiar face in the Senate halls as a policy analyst for Senator Joan Huffman, working on a wide range of issues including criminal justice, transportation, and health care. With charisma and hard work, Temple earned a solid reputation among Members and staff for his ability to build relationships across party lines and make significant progress on Senator Huffman’s key priorities. With the close of the session, Temple continued his studies at the University of Texas School of Law, graduating in December 2019 with honors. In the private sector, Temple has spent several summers as a summer associate for some of the world’s leading law firms. When he is not spending time at the State Capitol he can be found deeply immersed in all things University of Texas athletics. Will bleeds orange!
